Oct 23, 2022     45-17 Cabin doors and transparencies step 4A - (4 hours)       Category: Fuselage
Need to have consistent gap around the door. after sanding i got about 2,5mm using a small permagrit flat file. On the door side i have a square edge, while on the canopy side there is still a bevel. I decided to use a 10mmX3mm adhesive rubber seal attached to the right door in order to have a straight and sufficiently rigid edge to contain the epoxy and cab-o-sil i spreaded on the canopy junction. this should preserve the gap and allow for a square edge on the canopy. Sanding will be required probably. Similar process for the left door if result on the right door will be satisfactory
